Of the various members of the Blackhawks, Stanislaus might actually have been the least interesting as we researched him, because he really doesn't have a specific feature that makes him stand out among the others at first. He seems to be the most scientifically minded of them, but you don't really get that from his visual design, they seem to want him to be younger. To try to make that work, we've made him an early ally of Janos. He became his partner right out of college.... the pragmatist that takes Janos's wild plans and makes them actually happen. the Brad Pitt to his George Clooney, if you want to make an oceans 11 allegory.
This of course means that he's one of the youngest Blackhawks, and is actually responsible for closing down their facilities once the others have retired. We used him to carefully tie up and remaining story threads with the team, like making sure Zinda's stasis chamber is where it needs to be for it to be found in modern times. Because of the need to separate the dated timeline from the modern 'years ago" timeline, all the Blackhawks had to have died rather young, but Stanislaus survived the longest, all the way up into the early sixties.
